Men who are bisexual
But ask a few people about what being bisexual means to them, and you might get a few different answers. To them, bisexuality excludes nonbinary genders , or even erases transgender people altogether. One popular definition was created by bisexual activist Robyn Ochs:. Bisexuality - Wikipedia
Bisexuality is romantic attraction, sexual attraction , or sexual behavior toward both males and females, or to more than one sex or gender. The term bisexuality is mainly used in the context of human attraction to denote romantic or sexual feelings toward both men and women, and the concept is one of the three main classifications of sexual orientation along with heterosexuality and homosexuality , all of which exist on the heterosexual—homosexual continuum. A bisexual identity does not necessarily equate to equal sexual attraction to both sexes; commonly, people who have a distinct but not exclusive sexual preference for one sex over the other also identify themselves as bisexual. Scientists do not know the exact cause of sexual orientation, but they theorize that it is caused by a complex interplay of genetic , hormonal , and environmental influences , and do not view it as a choice. Bisexuality has been observed in various human societies and elsewhere in the animal kingdom throughout recorded history.

What Does It Mean to Be Bi or Bisexual?
Men who live in conventional marriages and at the same time have significant love-sex relationships with members of their own sex are largely an invisible group in our society. However, there is evidence to suggest that they are not rare, only rarely identified. How these men perceive themselves, reconcile the ordinary aspects of their lives with their atypical sexuality, and conduct themselves in marriage and family life are the focus of this study. Particular attention is paid to two major paradoxes in their lives: the contradiction between their heterosexual public identity which places them comfortably in the mainstream of society and their stigmatized and forbidden homosexual desires and behavior; and the ethical issue of deceiving their wives as well as others to whom they are intimately related. Sixty men drawn from a non-clinical population presented their life stories in extended tape-recorded interviews.
However, when I am physically intimate with a man I find it difficult, if not impossible, to maintain an erection. When people are grappling with such questions, what they are really comparing is not so much the qualitatively different sexual experiences, but rather who they experience themselves to be in the context of their relationships with people of different genders. But you do not have to make a choice — not now and not ever. You accept that you are bisexual , so you can fairly comfortably decide to have relationships with people of either or both genders. And you will discover that in a longer-term monogamous relationship if you want that at any point it is the particular person and how he or she makes you feel when you are together that is important — not their gender.
